How to create a modern Romantic theme...

The trick to creating a romantic theme for your wedding day without being too sickly sweet or clichéd, is to use prints with a modern twist. Our Open Rose print is one of our best-selling designs, featuring the most popular wedding flower (the rose!) along with foliage and butterflies. Influenced by the trends of floral prints in interiors (such as Laura Ashley wallpapers and fabrics) and on clothes, these invitations are bang up to date yet still communicate the traditional romantic theme.

Colour combinations that would work well in a romantic theme would be:

Gold & Cream, with Chocolate Brown writing (on a shimmering pearlescent card)
Vintage Pink, Mushroom & Ivory (on a sophisticated matt finish)
Duck Egg Blue & white (tied as a pack with organza ribbon and matching tag)

These pictures give you a feel for our Open Rose prints...
